Green Is the New Normal?

I’m reminded of what life was like for my grandparents and great grandparents.  Life was simpler back then. They cooked from scratch and made the most of what they had.  My grandmother would make a scrumptious meal, complete with a dessert, every night.  She even had a way of making leftovers taste extraordinary!


Every extra  little bit of pie crust would be rolled out, dotted with butter, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, and baked to perfection. Back then, very little went to waste.   They were green and lived a life that was environmentally friendly long before it was ever cool.


Life today has more choices.  We can run to the store and buy just about anything we need; even things we didn’t even know we wanted or needed!  Thanks to technology, most of it can be done at the touch of our finger tips.


Are we getting green-fatigued or are we cycling back a little more to how things used to be?
